The company’s primary production facilities are strategically located in northwestern Bulgaria and the city of Vidin. Two licensed yards and logistics centers at ports on the Danube River and at railway stations are part of our network. State-of-the-art heavy equipment, including shredders, is used in the yards for cleaning and processing scrap metal. Depending on market conditions, the company also operates at the Black Sea ports of Varna and Burgas, aпd in North Macedonia.
The company annually purchases and processes between 25,000 and 50,000 tons of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The materials are cut with high-capacity electric shears and further reduced in size using a dedicated shredding installation. Following a rigorous purification process, premium-grade raw materials are produced and supplied to leading steel and non-ferrous metal manufacturers in Turkey, Greece, India, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia.
The company has extensive experience and has established logistics chains with all types of freight transport—rail, road, river, and sea vessels—which provides flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions. The company owns a fleet of heavy goods vehicles licensed to transport scrap metal. This allows Vida Metals Recycling to be a reliable and sustainable supplier of raw materials to companies in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
